The gang avoids detection and preserves anonymity by using complex tactics and Tor-based infrastructure that is purportedly situated in the Czech Republic. By threatening to reveal sensitive material that has been taken, its well-organized operations are intended to maximize ransom demands.

A Record of Prominent Assaults

Bashe has already tried to upend the Indian banking industry. The group claimed to have gained access to a database with 637,895 entries after breaking into Federal Bank in December 2024. The purported hack sparked worries about financial institutions' increasing susceptibility to ransomware assaults.Bashe's threat seems to be growing as ICICI Bank is now purportedly in their sights.
