Jahaan ek taraf loan fraud, work-from-home scams aur online trading frauds jaise paramparik digital scams jaari hain, wahin doosri taraf “Digital Arrest Fraud” sabse khatarnak aur manovaigyanik roop se prabhavshali trend ke roop me ubhar kar saamne aaya hai.
STF ke Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Navneet Bhullar ke anusaar, is prakaar ke fraud me dar, dhamki aur kanooni karwai ka jhootha bhay dikhakar logon se paisa vasoola jaata hai. Pichhle paanch saalon me 37 log “Digital Arrest” fraud ka shikar hue, jisme crores rupaye ka nuksaan hua.
Police ki Karyawahi aur Recovery
Seemit sansaadhanon ke bawajood, Uttarakhand Police aur Special Task Force (STF) ne prashansaniya kaam kiya hai. Tez reporting aur turant action ke kaaran ab tak ₹70 crore se adhik rashi recover ki ja chuki hai, jisme sirf pichhle saal ₹28 crore shamil hain.
Police dwara social media, caller tunes aur digital platforms ke madhyam se lagataar awareness campaigns chalaye ja rahe hain. Phir bhi, cyber apradhi naye tareeke apna kar in upaayon se bachne ki koshish kar rahe hain.
