National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB)
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, is home to the NCRB. It is the major organisation in charge of gathering and evaluating crime data, keeping up-to-date national databases on crimes and offenders, and supporting law enforcement in their efforts to prevent and investigate crimes.
