Online 'Cash-On-Delivery' Scam: COD Scam

Navi Delhi: If you are buying an online mobile through cash on delivery then wait. Now a new scam has come.

A youth in Navi Delhi bought a new online mobile. For mobile payment, the youth had chosen the option 'Cash on Delivery' but he was cheated.

Online mobile Purchase scam: You must have seen many types of cyber crime till now. Online purchases are at a record level now, everyone buys something or the other online every day. Frauds are still happening through this online medium.

But now, a new type of scam has come to light. In this scam, the scammer himself comes in front of you. He takes money from you and hands over another thing to you.

A Delhi youth has been scammed similarly. He had ordered a mobile but was given a box of soap and biscuits and was taken away.

How was this online fraud committed?

A youth living in the Shekh Sarayit area of ​​South Delhi had booked a mobile online on 11th February. The payment for the same was made through cash on the cash-on-delivery option. Next day, a boy called and told him that he was the delivery boy and he had brought the mobile. The box was from the same online website from which the booking was done, and the same information was on the box as was ordered.

Everything seemed right to the youth who had ordered the mobile, and he paid Rs. 16900 for the mobile to the delivery boy through UPI.

After some time, when the box was opened, it contained a soap and a biscuit packet. The youth was shocked to see this.

After this, the same delivery boy was called but his phone was switched off. Email and customer care were also informed about this on the related online site, but no reply has come till now.

The next day, another delivery boy came with the same mobile box and asked for the same amount of 16900 rupees. The youth told all this truth in the police station and now the police is investigating it.

ऑनलाईन 'कॅश ओन डिलिव्हरी' स्कॅम: COD स्कॅम

नवी दिल्ली: ऑनलाईन मोबाईल कॅश ओन डिलिव्हरी से खरीद रहे हो तो रुको. अब नया स्कॅम आया है.
नवी दिल्ली मे एक युवा ने नया ऑनलाईन मोबाईल खरिदा. मोबाईल पेमेंट के लिये युवा ने 'कॅश ओन डिलिव्हरी' पर्याय को चुना था पर उस युवा से धोखा हुवा. 

Online  mobile  Purchase scam: सायबर क्राईम के बहोत सारे प्रकार आपने अभी तक देखे होंगे. ऑनलाईन खरीदी अभी रेकॉर्ड स्थर पर है, सभी लोग कुछ ना कुछ हर दिन ऑनलाईन खरीदते है.  इसी ऑनलाईन के माध्यम से धोखाधड़ी  अभी हो राही है. 
पर अभी यह प्रकार का नया घोटाला सामाने आया है, यह घोटाले  मे घोटाले  वाला खुद आपके समाने आता है. अपसे पैसे भी लेता है और दुसरी चीज आपके हात मे थमा देता है. 
दिल्ली के युवा से ऐसेही स्कॅम हुवा है, उस युवा ने मोबाईल मंगवाया था , पर उसके हाथ मे साबण और बिस्कीट का बॉक्स थमा के चाला गया. 

यह ऑनलाईन फ्रौड  कैसे किया गया ?

दक्षिण दिल्ली के शेख सराईत एरिया मे रहणे वाले एक युवा ने 11 फरवरी को एक मोबाईल ऑनलाईन बुक किया था. जिसका  पेमेंट कॅश ओन डिलिव्हरी पर्याय मे रखा गया था. दुसरे दिन एक लडके का कॉल आया और बताया की मै डिलिवरी बॉय हू; आपका मोबाईल लेके आया हू. जिस ऑनलाईन साईट से बुक किया उसी साईट का बॉक्स था और जो ऑर्डर किया था सेम वहि इन्फॉरमेशन उस बॉक्स पर थी.  
ऑर्डर करणे वाले युवा को सभी चीजे सही लागणे लगी और उस डिलिवरी बॉय को मोबाईल का 16900 रुपये का पेमेंट युपीआय के माध्यम से कर दिया.  
कुछ समय बाद उस बॉक्स को ओपन किया गया तो उसमे एक साबण और एक बिस्कीट का पाकिट था. यह देख कर युवा को सदमा लगा.  
इसके के बाद वही डिलिवरी बॉय को कॉल किया गया पर डिलिवरी बॉय का फोन स्विच ऑफ आणे लगा. इसके बरे संभंधित ऑनलाईन साईट पर ई-मेल और कस्टमर केयर को भी सुचित किया गया पर अभि तक कोई जवाब नही आया. 

दुसरे दिन और एक डिलिवरी बॉय आया वही मोबाईल का बॉक्स लेके और उतने ही 16900 रुपये मांगणे लगा. यह सभी हकीकत उस युवा ने पोलीस स्टेशन मे बतायी और अभी पोलीस इसकी जांच कर रहे है.
